All the drywall is gone and there is a small start to the construction. You can see that the opening to the dining room is framed. The pipes and electric still need to be moved, but it's a start.
Look close and you can see the cabinet outlines drawn on the floor. And to the right of this picture you see the inside of the old closet and more water pipes. I didn't notice them yesterday. So that's a total of 10 water pipes and 2 drains going up to the master bath. The other pictures in the photo album for Day 3 show these better.
They resolved the issue with the support post by replacing the cabinet to shorten the peninsula. The cabinet order has been changed and there is no expected delay. This will give us a little more room in the laundry. Maybe enough for a few shelves along the right hand wall for supplies. Tomorrow they frame out for the laundry room and we'll see just how much. space we have.
That's all for today. Oh, I just figured out you can click on the photos to zoom in. Each click zooms in closer. Click the back button to go back to this point. That really helps to see the details that I mentioned above.
