And by the end of the day, the cabinets were gone, the wall to the dining room was torn open, and we discovered that they don't build houses like they do in Missouri. Check out the second inside picture where you see the inside of the dining room wall. Look toward each end for the grey pipes. Those are the water lines going to the master bath. On the left are 5 lines and on the right are 2 more lines. Hot and cold each for the tub, sinks, shower and one for the loo. Yes, they are flexible plastic water pipes. We've talked to other home owners and the fexible pipe is very common around here. The white pipe on the far right is a mystery. Doesn't look the right size for a drain, could be a vent. Regardless, all the pipes have to be moved.
The demolition continues tomorrow and I'll be back with more pictures.
