Nothing new to see today. The dry wall guys were here first thing and spent several hours mudding. Everything looks a little smoother, but still pretty much the same as yesterday. There should be one more coat and then the sanding. They did put plastic sheeting to seal the doorways into the living room and hall. I just hope they hold up and we don't have dust everywhere.
Several weeks ago we got a small room-size free-standing air conditioner unit for the bedroom. The idea was to keep it cool at night and not have to turn the house AC on so early. It has turned out to be a very wise purchase with the remodel. We would have had a terrible time cooling down the house each night or spent a fortune keeping the whole house cooled as the workers were in and out all day. And I'm not sure the filters would have been enough to keep the ultra-fine dust from going everywhere.
